Our hotel was established in the location of a former coarse fabric factory, founded in 1860 as "Hähnel, Mänhardt & Comp." – one of the first spinning mills where wool was processed using combs, special tools for combing raw material.
Neo-Renaissance Factory Hall
Already in 1878, at today's Partyzantów Street, a characteristic neo-Renaissance factory hall and twin villas of the owners: Adolf Mänhardt and Ferdynand Hähnel were built. The name of our facility – Grępielnia – comes precisely from "carding".
Today, the historic building has gained new life as a modern hotel in Bielsko-Biała, offering comfortable accommodation in an elegant setting.
